Charlton County Annual Shredding Day
Each year Charlton County schedules a day for shredding and a day for electronic recycling. Citizens can bring documents that need to be shredded to the Senior Center Parking Lot. Please, no binders, clips, folders, notebooks, etc. Donations will be accepted to help offset costs.
We will use Legie E-Scrap Recycling for the electronic recycling.

Folkston Recycling Center
The recycling center is located off of Martin L. King, Jr. Drive. It is open from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
We accept:
- Glass
- Aluminum cans
- Cardboard
- Corrugated cardboard, cereal boxes, and dry-food boxes
- Scrap metal
