What are the chances a couple of speed humps could be installed on both Camp Pinckney Drive and Arthur Knowles Rd. to try to slow some of the maniacs (many with FL license plates) down and make the community safer for pedestrians, pets, and children?
There are very few residential neighborhoods in other places where speed bumps are non-existent, and there are actually some installed in Pine Hurst as well.

The school sports programs has produced a lot of revenue the passed few years and now we have a new paved track. Well, tax payers also contributed to the pot over the years so I feel it should be unlocked for folks that would like to walk or run on it as part of their physical fitness training.
OR
spend money paving the track around the practice football field so people don't have to walk in the mud produced by all the rain we get from time to time. I don't think this is asking much when compared to all the money put into baseball/football diamonds in the county.
Another thing, football playoffs/region champ games bring a lot of revenue as well but those games aren't home games for us very often in the past. I'm sure those games bring in as much revenue as Police check points at randomly selected times throughout the year.

The road our house is on is St. Marys River Bluff Rd and there are many times when the road is impassable, our cars are damaged trying to leave the area and if we only have a non SUV we're unable to get to work. I know there are parts of the road that do flood but even paving the portion that does not flood would be helpful to so many.

What if instead of cleaning up the community, spending countless tax dollars, and hours of grueling work, we encourage people to leave their old cars and lawnmowers in their yards. Creating a giant maze of parts of our past lives. we open it up to the public and turn it into an attraction. $10 a head, boom! halloween spooky walk included. Then we reinvest the tax dollars and park revenue into things that really matter. Like a taco bell. Listen, stoners, hungover river rednecks, kids, old people, meth cooks, plumbers, people who park in the fire lane at Harveys, they all love taco bell. More money spent in the county = a better county.

What is being done to advocate for economic growth in Charlton? What are the chances of advocating for a Wal-Mart to come to this area. Can u imagine the jobs this would bring to our community. It would attract people surrounding Charlton. Ex. Hillard, Bolouge, Brownstown, residents on 110 and the list goes on. Not to mention transportation/housing.
A one stop shop. If multiple Dollar stores can be approved, why not afford citizens the opportunities to shop/trade/buy where they choose with a Wal-Mart. It's hard to see others counties developing around us and we are stagnant. Why is that? Our tax payers dollars could be spent in this county however, most are forced to seek employment outside of Charlton therefore results in spending money outside of the county. Change is needed. Can u image making the county attractive to developers how it will grow. Hotel chains etc...try to Google hotels in Folkston. We have work to do. Anytime is a GOOD time to start. Now is available. Teamwork.
